BEL Engineering is founded in Monza, Italy

1980

Started developing own project of Electronic Precision Balances.
Successfully introduced first Electromagnetic force compensation “MARK” series balances.

1983

BEL Engineering was one of the first company in Italy to use Z80 microprocessors.
In these years BEL introduced in the market the first Z80 Microprocessor-based PH-meter P200 and ST101 models

1988

Beside electronic balances and PH-meteres, in the early years BEL Engineering developed and introduced in the market other instruments such as a small computers for painting industry, with completely self developed Operating System.

1992

  • Introduced the innovative Graphic “PAGE” Multifunction Balance and PAGE PH-meters, the first of their kind, where the user was guided through the function of the balance thanks to the “PAGE” guided interface.
  • Expanded the range of balances with the Analytical Balances 0.1mg resolution

2000

Opened branch unit in Brazil to serve better Brazilian market

2002

Started investing in developing Microscopes and Optical instruments

2003

  • BEL Engineering presents during PittCon exhibition USA the first Video-Microscope named BIOVIDEO with a 6.4’’ LCD monitor and no eyepieces, fully designed by BEL. This microscope will win awards for his innovative design and characteristics, putting a milestone for future developments of video-microscopes biovideo
  • Introduce small footprint portable high resolution strain gauge balance model “Mark S”  S-series
  • Open fully owned branch unit in Shanghai – China

Bel Engineering gets Quality System certification ISO9001
Production Quality is CE-NAWI certified

2011

Introduced Touch screen Windows™ CE Balances and moisture Balances with user friendly interface to make easier and immediate the use of the balance

2013

BEL Engineering introduce in the market the “BEL Tablet System” for balances allowing to expand the possibility of balances by connecting a tablet to the balance (by USB or Bluetooth) allowing the user to operate all the functions the balance with a user friendly interface from the tablet. BEL developed as well the APP with Android OS and the interface tablet

2014

BEL Engineering develop and introduce the TABKAM X1: a wi-fi system that connect a Tablet with Microscope cameras. Interface and Tablet application is completely developed by BEL. The system can be used on all the microscopes in the market tabkam

2015

Introduced HPB (High Performance Balance) Analytical balance series with capacity up to 610 grams with resolution 0.1 mg and Milligram balance series with capacity up to 2100 grams with resolution 0.001 grams

2016

  • Introduced the 0.01mg Semi-micro balance
  • Introduced advanced M5 series touch-screen moisture analyzer with embedded 5’’inch touch screen display (based on Linux kernel) m5-thermo

2017

  • Introduced M5 series with embedded 5’’ inch touch screen display (based on Linux kernel) for all the balances from 0.1g resolution to 0.01mg
  • Introduced Analyitical and Semimicro balances with integrated ioniser on the back of the balance to neutralize the electrostatic charges from the sample to be weighted
